# Photos: 2025 Little 500 Spring Series—Miss N Out

*Editor's Note: Leading up to the Little 500 bicycle race, the Indiana University Student Foundation (IUSF) hosts a Spring Series of races, which are also held at the* [*Bill Armstrong Stadium*](https://maps.app.goo.gl/KvrjDtAcjBhnPk4h9)*.* 

*On Friday (April 11, 2025), the previously rained out running of this year's Miss N Out competition was held. The idea of Miss N Out is not necessarily to be first across the finish line in a heat of 6–12 riders. The idea is just to survive to the next lap—by not being the last rider to have their front tire cross the start/finish line. The last rider "misses" and they are "out." The final three riders of each first-round heat go on to the next round. Eventually a championship heat of three riders is reached. In the championship heat, the rider to have their front tire cross the start/finish line first is declared champion.* 
  
*This year, the top three for the men were: Luke Naas (SAE), Judah Thompson (CUTTERS), Isaac Baker (SNU). The top 3 on the women were: Evelyn Morris (Melanzana), Sophie Boller (WSR), Bailey Cappella (Theta).*

*This year's Little 500 races take place on April 25 (women's race) and April 26 (men's race).* 

*The B Square asked freelance photographer Dave Martin to shoot some photos of the Miss N Out competition.*
