  1. 15 or 20 years ago, Indianapolis was considering the feasibility of a pipeline from Lake Monroe. Wonder if tapping the Wabash River for LEAP is just part of a regional agenda.

  2. Witness history as the Bloomington City Council takes up the Boone County water pipeline resolution AND the Gaza ceasefire resolution at the same meeting on 3/27. I am still waiting for a resolution that opposes sugar cream pie as the official state pie of Indiana. I prefer pecan pie. I strongly urge the council stand against the consumption of sugar cream pies in the state of Indiana.

    1. Eric, surely you know that for them to stand against sugar cream pies they will first have to form a blue ribbon committee to research the pros and cons of the sugar cream pie. They will need to have a series of meetings, surveys, informational seminars, and they will also need to hire an out of state consultant that will cost a minimum of $200,000. The consultants will then need to bring in samples of different sugar cream pie recipes, all of which will be available for the public to test by purchasing a sample at the farmer’s market. Once a winner is selected, the winning recipe and it’s creator will need to be vetted to ensure that they are organic, gluten free, NOT nazis, and willing to give their recipe to the city of Bloomington. Only then will it go back to the committee for them to decide if it should be recommended to the council. Once approved by the committee, they will present it to the council who will then individually nearly repeat each others questions and statements, each taking about 20 minutes to pontificate the points on sugar cream pie. Then the public will be given 2 minutes to speak. They will point out that some of the sugar cream pie employees use scooters and that will kick of a continuance to the next meetings.

  3. ChinaTown; good to have Ruff back in the mix. Rain catchment from every roof to prevent flooding & obviate need to pump more from the Lake.
