2025 Canopy of Lights!

It’s been an annual tradition for the courthouse square in downtown Bloomington since 1985. This Friday was no different.

Santa flipped the switch to transform the area into a sparkling winter wonderland. Thousands of lights displayed on and around the Monroe County Courthouse, turning the area into a scene from a Hallmark Christmas movie. The lineup included costumed characters from Bloomington High School South, Windfall Dancing Elves, a Constellation Stage + Screen musical performance from “A Christmas Story” Bloomington Brass Band, Kid Kazooey Sing Along, Bloomington mayor Kerry Thomson and more!
