Monroe County income tax rate to rise to 2.205% in 2027 Monroe County’s income tax rate will rise from 2.14% to 2.205% on Jan. 1 after the county council voted unanimously to restore the juvenile-services rate to 0.095%. The increase amounts to $32.50 a year more for a taxpayer with $50,000 of taxable income.
