Why are the parking spaces along 6th Street marked with "No Parking" signs from Morton Street all the way to Dunn Street—effective dates March 10 to March 11? Answer: After repaving work in the fall, Milestone Contractors mismarked some of the lines for parking spaces, which meant they did not line up with the meters, making enforcement hard. So over the next two days, Milestone will grind off some of the lines and restripe them. That's according to Zac Rogers, who is aproject manager with the city's engineering department. Rogers was on site monitoring the work. Here a Milestone worker is sealing the pavement where the line was ground off.
