The Bloomington High School North Cougars fell to the Pioneers of Mooresville on Friday night by a score of 28–14.
Photographer Amy Mason captured some of the action for the B Square. She offers her perspective on the first game, as the mother of a team member: “The team is understandably disappointed in the loss, but this group is beginning to find its way in the new era under coach Brett Cooper. With many players stepping into their first varsity starting roles, there are bound to be growing pains, but also plenty of opportunities for development. These early challenges are important first steps in building confidence, chemistry, and consistency. The foundation is being laid for what promises to be an exciting and promising season ahead. Bright days are ahead. Go Cougars!”
