Last Saturday, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County (HHMC) wrapped up a Blitz Build at its Osage Place development, which first broke ground in 2021. The development is situated on about eight acres on the southwest side of Bloomington—west of the intersection of Rockport and Rogers, next to RCA Park.
Saturday’s work concluded a five-day flurry of work in connection with the “BuildBetter with Whirlpool” program and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business to build five new net-zero houses. By the numbers, Saturday’s build includes the 250th home that HHMC has constructed in its 37-year history. Photographer Juliette Kniola was on hand to capture these images for the B Square.
