3rd Street & College Avenue
The handrail is now repaired. According to Bloomington public works director Adam Wason the walkway was open again to pedestrians on Oct. 3.
7th Street & Jefferson Street
The house at 314 North Jefferson Street was demolished this week. Last week, four other houses in the same block (318, 324, 326, and 336) were also torn down.
High Street & Wimbleton Lane
The guy wires that were blocking the sidepath have been removed. The city's engineering department says that final path construction will be completed in the near future.
Griffey Lake Causeway
A flock of Canada geese taxi down a runway blocked with a log full of turtles, but manage to achieve clearance and land safely on the other side of the log.
Kinser Pike & Winding Way
Inflatable dinosaurs (triceratops and tyrannosaurus rex) with lighted jack-o-lanterns on the lawn. If the people who visit this house on Halloween to do not say, “T-Rex or treat!” they are missing a great chance to be hilarious.
