(with video) A tow truck winches a car from near the Monroe County History Center to the street. It wound up there as the result of a 5:45 a.m. collision between two cars, one apparently headed south on Washington and the other east on 6th Street.

Planted, which is likely familiar to Bloomington residents as a food truck, is set to put down brick-and-mortar roots. It joins a line of businesses that have occupied the space (with gaps) since 2002, including Neannie’s Cafe, the Looking Glass hair salon, La Vie en Rose and Small Favors.

Inside the parking services division at the garage there are two payment kiosks set up for public review. The city is considering rolling out such kiosks, one on every blockface, to replace parking meters at every spot.
