Editor's Note: Leading up to the Little 500 bicycle race, the Indiana University Student Foundation (IUSF) hosts a Spring Series of races, which are also held at the Bill Armstrong Stadium.
This past Sunday (April 13, 2025) the Team Pursuit competition was held. Each heat is a race between two teams of four riders. The bikes are placed at opposite corners of the track. The race begins with both teams standing 20 feet from their bikes. At the sound of the horn, the teams scramble onto their bikes and pedal their guts out for 15 laps.
For the women the Team Pursuit this year was won by the team from Alpha Chi Omega. For the men it was the Cutters who prevailed in the Team Pursuit. [2025 Spring Series results]
This year's Little 500 races take place on April 25 (women's race) and April 26 (men's race).
