  1. I’m having a little trouble following this. So when the 2024 budget for the City of Bloomington was passed there was $31.4 million expected revenue from both LIT categories combined, but the actual number will be about $35.4 million, is that right Dave?

    1. Hi William! I think that is a reasonable way to sum things up.

Because ($14,837,403+$16,587,406) is about $31.4 million and the expected supplemental just to Bloomington will be $4 million, maybe more. The SBA will issue a precise breakdown, at which point we’ll know exactly. The supplemental LIT distribution typically doesn’t get a lot of scrutiny from Bloomington city council (none that I’ve seen in the last 5 years.) Given that it’s going to be a bigger number than usual, I wanted to highlight it, even before the exact number is known.
